One before the "Best of 2021"
Quickie cleaning out my 2021 share folder; Alex Bleeker, Natalie Jane Hill, Sourdure, Sarah Davachi, Acid Pauli, Haseeb Iqbal, Fuubutsushi..
Hello all,
This will be a quick one to clean out some links that have been stuck in my “to share” folder. Happy Holidays!
Alex Bleeker of Real Estate has a new solo album called Heaven on the Faultline and this is the most infectious riff I've heard this year, even surpassing former Real Estate riffs.
Ethereal 70's folk a la Linda Perhacs or Karen Dalton in a rural. TX setting, fingerpicked guitars are your thing. Natalie Jane Hill’s new album “Solely” has very strong songwriting.
A remix by good friend Mr. Acid Pauli has been made into a very weird almost Yorgos Lanthimos-y (is that even a word) short music video.
I’ve also done a twitter thread with some more stuff briefly shared from my notes, Sourdure, Sarah Davachi, Sunroof, Hedvig Mollestad and more ⬆️
